Elizabeth Harvest Festival

Today we played in Elizabeth for a harvest festival they had on Main Street. This was the first performance for our newest fifer, Caleb, that has been learning for the last 8-9 months.

There were a good deal of people watching even though you can't see them.

Yankee Doodle

Caleb played with us for 20-30 min. and then we did two other performance about that long. We then marched out. We were able to play some of the music we have been practicing for Tippecanoe.

  1. Peter,

Caleb looks as though he would be freezing. Tell him I admire the man in him. Speaking of which, your beard is a fine, manly addition, Peter.

We've just finished Vision Forum's Honorable Language lessons, and we're starting Family Strategies. Father has found both to be an encouraging confirmation of the principles he has set for our home from day one. There are some really good points that would be applicable for Cravats and Tall Hats. We're going to want to launch that pretty soon now that November's here. In the meantime, enjoy Tippecanoe!

    Your servant,
    Wesley
