Our first performance of the year was the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Denver (3/16/13). Like last year, large crowds of people in green turned out to watch the parade (I think it was said to be about 200,000 people). It did not rain and it was cool enough that it felt good to march. We joined the Mile High Fife and Drum Corps, the First New Mexico Field Music, and the First Colorado Volunteer Infantry. We had about thirty riflemen, two color guard, seven fifes, three drums, and eight camp followers/banner holders. We were portraying the 69th NYSV, also known as the Irish Brigade.
